Coaching is an art

Stepping into my ideal state

So why do I coach?

It is both humble and powerful to say this: I coach because I care. I coach because I believe in people sometimes before they believe in themselves. I coach because transformation is possible. And when done well, coaching is not a technique; it is a living art.

Coaching, at its heart, is about presence—the kind of presence that invites curiosity, courage, and change.
It is about holding space where clients can confront their truths and reimagine their possibilities. This requires me to show up fully, with authenticity and openness.

Two things anchor me in my coaching practice:

I want to prove, to myself, and perhaps more importantly, to those who doubt—that real shifts can happen through presence, deep listening, and the right questions asked at the right time.

I genuinely want to support my clients in uncovering their potential and living their purpose.

The quality of our presence determines the quality of our impact.

Richard Strozzi-Heckler

I have learned over time that I cannot fake presence. I cannot shortcut integrity. Clients sense immediately when you are truly with them or when your mind is elsewhere. My energy matters. My state matters. Before every coaching session, I take a moment to check in with myself:

How am I showing up? Am I grounded? Am I curious? Am I patient? Am I ready to hold tension without rushing to fix or advise?

This intentionality has become my foundation. I now see coaching as my canvas, my art form. I am not here to instruct or to provide answers. I am here to hold a mirror, to create a safe space for exploration, and to offer tension that catalyzes growth.

Coaching is co-creative. It starts with my own alignment, my capacity to listen not just with ears, but with presence, intuition, and heart. When I am fully engaged, I attract the right clients, those ready to take responsibility for their own change, those willing to lean into discomfort for transformation.

Who are these clients? They are leaders at pivotal crossroads, teams poised on the brink of breakthrough, individuals ready to rewrite their internal narratives. They want more, not in a material sense, but in a soulful, deeply human way.

Who am I while coaching? I am grounded and intuitive. I am deeply curious and fiercely believing in possibility. But I am also real, I bring my own humanity and experience. I don’t ask clients questions I haven’t wrestled with myself. I don’t hold space I haven’t learned to hold in my own life.

Coaching is unlocking people’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.
