I want to thank you all for being there for me today.
I woke up feeling uninspired today.
It’s been a few days now, that I wake up several times in the middle of the night, and struggle to fall back to sleep.
Today, however, the overthinking carried over to the next morning, and I woke up feeling down, with a stomach ache that took me back in memory to high school exam days.
My morning routine’s tasks were all harder to perform, some even impossible, as I missed my morning workout. I pushed through the morning and headed to the office earlier than usual, in the hope of getting a kickstart of the day.
I wanted to create content for Wolfpack, but found myself scrolling through Wolfpack’s album of pictures, choosing one after the other, trying to come up with an idea, a question or a post, but inspiration didn’t kick in. I felt like shit, incompetent, unfocused with a blurry mind.
I stopped what I was doing, got off my desk and went for a walk. I had no idea how to go on with my day.
I grabbed my phone, and asked you: ‘What do you do when you feel uninspired?’ I needed support, tips, advice, anything that would get me through what I was feeling. The answers started rolling in, helping me reflect on whether they could apply to me or not, initiating conversations with you, and exploring the potential of implementing what you were suggesting.
I went back home, and as one of the answers suggested, I went for a workout. With Gary Vaynerchuck’s podcast in my ears, I pushed through my program.

As I write this, I realized that your answers helped me figure out ways to push through days like today. Here are my thoughts:
1. Show vulnerability
Accept your feelings and show them to those around you. We will only receive support when we ask for it.
2. Engage in an activity that will stimulate your happy hormones
Choose an activity that will boost your endorphins, dopamine, serotonin or oxytocin; this will bring value back to your day, and give you a sense of control not to mention make you feel good too!
3. Focus on your story
We often get misled with our present feelings that we confuse our situation with being all negative. One thing is for sure however, it is definitely not all negative. Make a list of all the positive things, the ups, the summits of where you currently are. Focus on what your story really is, not only on how you are feeling today.
I want to thank you all for being there for me today.
That is the power of the Pack!
Elias.
